Ayanda Thabethe and Jameson Whiskey Pull The Biggest April Fool Prank. Talk about a good one! A few days ago, congratulation messages were flying all over social media after Ayanda Thabethe announced her new ambassadorship deal. She was unveiled as the official face of Jameson skincare range, Beatha. The skincare range was said to be made with the highest quality grain Jameson whiskey, barley and skin ingredients. It was revealed that the Beatha range boasts a hydrating facial oil, a restorative facial mousse and a beard oil for men.
When it comes to skincare products, a of people are always searching for something that will work fro their skin. As Beatha was the new kid in the block, many were ready to try out the range. Among those who spoke highly of Beatha was Lalla Hirayama. The media personality and actress said she is already obsessed about the products, after trying it out. Professional makeup artist and content creator Sikelela Siki also gave the range a thumbs up. Blogger, Lerato Kgamanyane also took to Instagram to sing the praises of this first of a kind skincare range.
Well, guess what! There is no such thing as a Jameson skincare range, it was all a prank. Both Jameson SA and Ayanda, took to social media to laugh at the masses. The only thing that Jameson will stick to doing is world class whiskey, as for skincare products, those are best left for experts in the beauty industry. What we can draw from this prank though, is the sense of humor that Jameson as a brand has. Hence they will be taking their funny bone further by having comedian Ebenhaezer Dibakwane as well as some of the finest local comedic talent, on a show called, Humor Me.
“HAPPY APRIL FOOL’s!!!
The only thing as perfect as this April Fool’s prank we just pulled is our whiskey 😂🤣😅And we’ll stick to doing just that.🥃 But the laughs don’t stop here…@JamesonSA presents Humour Me, a comedy show hosted by Ebenhaezer Dibakwane featuring some of Mzansi’s finest comedic talent #jamesonaprilfools,” they definitely got us good here!
