Mshoza Aims For A Grammy After Many Years In The Industry With No Award

Mshoza Aims For A Grammy After Many Years In The Industry With No Award. She has been in the game for over 20 years, but sadly hasn’t got enough recognition. In 2017, after 18 years in the game, Mshoza got recognized when her smash hit Abantu Bam was nominated for Best Kwaito Single at the 16th Metro FM Music Awards.

Although she didn’t get the award, Mshoza’s light is not to be dimmed by anyone. The talented musician believes one day she will walk away with a Grammy. With her resilient attitude and talent, one can’t rule out the possibility of this Kwaito queen bringing an international award home.

“It’s so funny today I am over 20 years in the industry and we are celebrating 25 years of democracy. I hope to get a Grammy one day since no accolade received from my people here at home. Last time I got an award was during those township stokvels back in the days,” she said.
