Life Goals: Toya Delazy Joins Powerpuff Girls. Talented singer Toya Delazy as announced on social media that she would be voicing the new Powerpuff Girl. “AND JUST LIKE THAT, I BECAME A POWERPUFF GIRL. Much love to my
@cartoonnetwork for trusting me with this epic job,” she announced.
This is the first black Powerpuff Girl to join the team. “I have always dreamed of being the voice of a cartoon character,” Toya Delazy said in a Cartoon Network statement last month. “Never did I think I would be recording a voice for Cartoon Network’s The Powerpuff Girls though!” The announcement has been well received by South Africans. They are supporting the new character and voice artist wholeheartedly.
This isn’t the first time the girls have had a fourth member. Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup once created a fourth Powerpuff Girl in their father’s lab, but they didn’t use the right amount of sugar, spice, and everything nice, so Bunny ultimately exploded. We hope this new Powerpuff member has a longer life span.
