“I Was Never Mean to Pearl,” DJ Zinhle. Theirs is one friendship that will always be under public scrutiny. This is mainly because DJ Zinhle and Pearl Thusi flaunted their beautiful relationship on social media. The two were the epitome of what friendship should be like.

As much as they both have tight schedules, because of the entertainment industry, Pearl and Zinhle always made time for each other. The two ladies were always together, went on vacations together, rocked similar outfits, supported each other’s careers and at some point even lived together under the same roof with their daughters. Every time celeb friendship lists were made, Zinhle and Pearl were always there at the top, because what they had was so real and beautiful to see.

Sadly their fans started to notice cracks over the past couple of months. They no longer spend as much time as they used to before. Pearl is more close to other people including Lerato Kganyago, while Zinhle is more focused on her family and hangs more with Moozlie. The two also rarely share posts about each other on social media. Recently though, Pearl shared on Twitter that she and Zinhle are still very much friends.

There is a video trending on social media, putting the two personalities on the spotlight once again. In the video that has since gone viral, DJ Zinhle was seen performing at Moozlie’s birthday party when Pearl came to join her. To many Tweeps’ surprise, Zinhle can be seen dismissing Pearl with a hand gesture before asking DJ Brandon to do something on the mixing desk. This led to Pearl quietly leaving Zinhle in peace after receiving the cold shoulder.

Zinhle has come out to defend her actions, saying the short clip is not what it looks like. She states that she and Pearl had a great time, and on the video she was gesturing to Brandon to come select a song. The multi-award winning DJ put it out there that she wasn’t mean to Pearl.
