“Stop Comparing Me to My Sister,” Ntsiki Mazwai

“Stop Comparing Me to My Sister,” Ntsiki Mazwai. When it comes to famous siblings the urge to compare them is not easy to control. This is the case with the Mazwai sisters who are all in the limelight. Big sister Thandizwa, is a multi award winning songstress, then we have Ntsiki who is a poet, TV personality as well as active in the Twitter spaces. The youngest Nomsa, who is also a musician. and social activist.

All these three women are vocal, and quite often get dragged on social media. Unlike many other famous siblings, the Mazwai sisters are not dependent on each other to succeed. Each one of them is doing their own thing individually, and independently. Because of such, there has been speculations over the years, that they are not really the best of friends, more especially Ntsiki and Thandiswa.

Despite all of these speculations, the sisters, have never given us something to conclude that there is war between them. In fact we have seen pictures and videos of them on social media having a great time as family. Yes, just like it happens in many families out there, siblings do fight verbally and physically, and the Mazwai sisters are no exception.

As Ntsiki and Thandiswa are the most famous, the comparison between them won’t stop anytime soon. But for Ntsiki, this is just too much, and she has asked people to stop doing that because as sisters, they are way past that level. She also added that people are jealous that her sister is a star and wish it was their sister.

May I kindly request that you stop comparing me to my sister, it’s really old. We are past that level,” Ntsiki said.
