The Wife Fans Pit Bonko Khoza and Wiseman Mncube Against Each Other. The much anticipated 3rd season of The Wife is here. A lot happened in the last season from Zandile getting out of jail to Qhawe Zulu meeting the love of his life Dr Naledi Montsho.
The new season of The Wife, has just premiered today, and as expected the show is trending on social media plartforms. This season is based on the third novel called Naledi His Love. The storyline will focus more on Qhawe and Naledi’s love. With Naledi missing and the Zulu brothers facing the heat, this will be the most explosive season yet.
This new season is coming with a lot of changes also. There are some new additional cast members who have just joined The Wife. Among them include, Gaisang K. Noge, Sello Motloung, Stoan Seate Mostaoaledi Setume, Matthews Ratsoma, Ncebakazi Pilingane and Terrence Ngwila.
Wiseman Mncube has also joined the telenovela, to continue with the role of Mqhele Zulu. The multi-award winning actor takes over from another phenomenal actor, Bonko Khoza. For two season, Bonko displayed amazing acting skills as he played the lead role of Mqhele, Hlomu’s husband. As much as this is a character everyone loved to hate, many were impressed by Bonko’s acting skills, bagging DStv Mzansi Viewers’ Choice and SAFTA Awards nominations for the role.
As expected The Wife viewers are divided over him being replaced by another talent. Some are still loyal to the original Mqhele such that they can’t imagine any other actor taking over the bad guy role. On the other hand others want Wiseman to be given a chance as an actor. They have even warmed up to him as he makes his debut.
Wiseman has big shoes to fill and so far he is doing so damn well,he blends in perfectly with the rest of the Zulu brothers,yes we miss Bonko but you are right he isn't coming back.

I haven’t watched #TheWifeShowmax but I see some people are already complaining about the new Mqhele… Bonko let you guys down so give Wiseman a break. He is not Bonko and I am sure how they interpret the character won’t exactly be the same.

One thing I will not do is stress myself about the new Mqhele, Wiseman is an awesome actor, one of the best even, but Bonko will always be uMqhele, otherwise this is all about Naledi and Qhawe, that's where our focus should be. #TheWifeShowmax
