Memorial Service Details of AKA’s Friend Tibz Released. When it comes to an untimely death, reality strikes in when preparations gets to an advanced stage. When you hear of funeral and memorial dates, it becomes more evident that our loved one is really gone.

This is the case with Tebello Tibz Motsoane. The entertainment entrepreneur, former manager of AKA, seasoned chef and celebrated author lost his life this past Friday in Durban. Together with his friend, AKA, real name Kiernan Forbes, they got shot outside a popular eatery on Durban’s Florida Road on Friday evening. Tibz is believed to have been shot on the chest, while the multi-award winning rapper, TV personality and entrepreneur was shot on the head.

At the moment there are trending images and videos of their moment before, during and after the shooting, caught on CCTV. A the moment no arrests have been made, and the SAPS has mounted a manhunt for the gunmen.

Condolence messages have been pouring in for the two gentlemen’s families, friends and loved ones. Quite a number of A-list celebrities have been to AKA‘s home to pay their respect. As for Tebelllo, his family and friends have organized a memorial service for him. Close friends, family and selected media will gather for a special tribute in Observatory, Johannesburg. Tibz’ memorial service will also be live-streamed.

The memorial service will take place at a special send-off ceremony on Thursday, 16th February 2023. His funeral will take place at a private ceremony over the weekend. May the family and loved ones be comforted during this trying time.
