Mpho Popps Announces His Latest TV Hosting Gig. There are so many new and exciting shows to look forward to on TV in the coming weeks and months. This is not only entertainment for the viewers, it is also jobs for a lot of our personalities.
One show that we are all waiting for in anticipation is The Masked Singer SA. The celebrity singing competition features well known personalities, who perform under the cover of flamboyant costumes and facial masks to conceal their identities. Viewers will then vote for the ones the would love to keep each week. The exiting contestant will then unveil their identity, which is one of the exciting parts of the show.
Adding more fun to the show is a panel, known as the detectives. With the clues given, the have to guess who could be the celebrity behind the mask. For the South African version, the detectives are Instagram influencer, DJ and entrepreneur Sithelo Shozi, award winning musician, author, TV personality and entrepreneur J Something, flamboyant media personality and all round entertainer Somizi as well as award winning comedian and media personality Skhumba.
Assuming the host role is the one and only Mpho Popps. Although the news has been shared a day ago, Mpho has only made the official announcement a couple of hours ago. Taking to social media, the award winning stand-up comedian and media personality is excited for hosting The Masked Singer, and just like us, he can’t wait for the show to start.
