J Something Reflects On Being 29 Years. Micasa lead singer J Something has just turned 29 and he has used that time to reflect on his life. “Turning 29 today has been nothing short of amazing! Blessed to be around the people that support me and my vision. I am so grateful,” he said.
The Portuguese national was born 29 years ago in Portugal as Joao Da Fonseca. His family immigrated to the Eastern Cape and later moved to Johannesburg in South Africa, where he worked at Soul Candi as the studio manager. He is now a member of successful band Micasa. This house band based in Johannesburg,and consisting of three members, Dr. Duda (producer) and pianist, J’Something (vocalist and guitarist), and Mo-T (trumpeter).
He has just under 1 million active online followers across all major sites and thousands of fans. The multi-talented star is now juggling life in the kitchen, music and being a husband.
