Mr Price Graduate Opportunities: Dayforce & Operations Efficiency

Introduction

Our Mr Price Apparel Division is currently recruiting high level Graduates who are interested in working on a 2 year contract within our operations (stores) environment. The main objective will be to assist store management to better understand the functionality of the labour scheduling system (Dayforce), within our stores across South Africa, to ensure consistency, understanding and efficiency within the store, directly related to this system.

You will be responsible for:

• Learning the Dayforce system such that you become an expert in it.
• Understand our various stores employment contracts.
• Travelling with Area Managers to their stores to assist store management to achieve greater flexibility in scheduling associates according to their store’s demand curve.
• Analyzing, identifying and imparting your expertise of the system, onto the Store Manager, to allow them to understand and use the system effectively and efficiently.
• In this role you will be a champion in our Labour scheduling system (Dayforce), identifying gaps, insisting standards are maintained and current and new practices are adopted within our stores.

We are looking for graduates who are proficient in MS Office, and have exceptional analytical, conceptual, problem solving and solution driven skills. You must be a curious thinker with a focus on outcomes but also have a passion for working and collaborating with people.

The minimum requirements for this career opportunity are:

• A relevant qualification majoring in finance / auditing / information systems
• A valid driver’s license, own car and open to travel extensively
