Kendrick Recruitment is now looking for a Junior Sous Chef to be located at a private 5* lodge based in the Kruger National. The successful candidate will be accountable to the Head chef and will oversee the management of the kitchen in the absence of the Senior Sous and Head chef. Some of the key qualifications and skills required are: A minimum of 5 years experience in a 5* medium sized kitchen
International experience will be favoured
Assertiveness, a cool head and exceptional organisational skills is a must
A passion for chefing and kitchen related activities with a keen attention to detail
Excellent communication skills
Relevant culinary qualifications from a recognised establishment
All relevant kitchen related qualifications – knowledge of kitchen safety procedures and all firefighting exercises, First Aid, Health and Hygiene.Handover procedures
