Bonnie is not new to the international scene. Back in 2018 the award winning actress, TV personality, author and entrepreneur she bagged a role in Noughts + Crosses series, which was released in 2020. The series is a BBC adaptation of Malorie Blackman’s 2001 novel of the same name. The hit show follows the forbidden love story of Callum and Sephy, a “Nought” and a “Cross” who fall in love. On the series Bonnie is cast as Jasmine Hadley, Sephy Hadley’s mother. She continued with the role this year when returned Noughts + Crosses for season II.

Bonnie is back with an international role, and she has just announced her latest project. She stars opposite Giancarlo Esposito and Paula Malcomson in the US series, The Driver, AMC’s remake of the British drama series that is set to launch next year on AMC and AMC+. It stars Esposito as Vince, a taxi driver whose life is turned upside down when he agrees to chauffeur the New Orleans-based Zimbabwean gangster “The Horse” (Zackary Momoh), a man notorious for exploiting undocumented immigrants at the U.S. southern ports.
