Bonang Matheba’s Film Finally Hits SA. She is ending the first half of the year on a bang. Bonang Matheba’s movie is finally hitting South African shores. Public Figure will debut at the 21st Encounters South African International Documentary Festival, currently on in Johannesburg and Cape Town.

“I saved the best for last. My first adventure into film-making, Public Figure, will be making its debut at the Encounters doc Festival on the 15th and 16th June 2019 in Johannesburg and Cape Town,” she announced.

The documentary-film investigates the psychological effects of everyday social media use while exploring how our influencers deal with the fame, money, hate and obsession that comes with it.
