Assault Charges Against Idols Runner-Up Mthokozisi Ndaba Withdrawn. Idols South Africa runner-up Mthokozisi Ndaba appeared in the Hillbrow Magistrate’s Court on Monday morning on an assault charges. On the same day,the charges against him were withdrawn.

Neo Tsele‚ 20‚ laid a complaint with the Hillbrow police claiming that Ndaba had assaulted her at a friend’s Braamfontein flat. Ndaba who has always maintained his innocence was arrested on Thursday and appeared in court today with the charges being withdrawn.

In the past weeks Ndaba has been struggling to cope with losing SA Idols reality show competition. He dominated headlines as well as social media recently after he refused to do a press conference after his loss.
