“My Father Loves Fame,” Babes Wodumo. Her father was one of the family members who publicly supported her during her recent trying time. Babes Wodumo’s father addressed the media after the video of her being physically abused by boyfriend Mampintsha surfaced.

After the incident, Reverend Welcome Simelane had interviews with many media houses, and spoke on radio as well as TV. Babes who was a guest on Behind The Story this Wednesday said her father is doing all this because he loves fame. The Wololo hitmaker explained how shocked she was when she saw her father all over the news. She even made fun of how her father spoke English in front of the cameras.

Last year Babes father also made the news when he slammed the way Masechaba Ndlovu handled an interview with his daughter on Metro FM. Reverend Welcome said his daughter was caught off guard during the interview. This could be a dad just supporting his daughter, but then again Babes has her own interpretation
