Investec and the South Africa-Israel Forum are taking 25 of South Africa’s most promising young entrepreneurs on a one-week trip to Israel and Palestine from 15-21 March 2015.

With more companies listed on the NASDAQ than any other country outside of the United States and China, and home to the largest venture capital industry per capita, Israel is arguably one of the most entrepreneurial countries in the world.

The aim of this trip is to expose young South African entrepreneurs to cutting edge innovation coming out of Israel and Palestine, as well as to further entrench a culture of entrepreneurship in South Africa. The trip will also be an opportunity for the young entrepreneurs to establish new global business relationships.

The programme will include visits to top Israeli start ups in a variety of sectors, as well as formal and informal opportunities to network and showcase their businesses. The group will also spend one day meeting with Palestinian entrepreneurs in Ramallah.
