Mogau Keebine Shares Her Views Over Skeem Saam Changing Time Slot. As the saying goes, ‘To improve is to change; to be perfect is to change often.’ This exactly resonates with the recent changes at Skeem Saam. After years of enjoying the 6:30 timeslot, Skeem Saam has changed to a different time.

As of the 4th of March, the hit educational drama started airing at 7:30 every weekday still on SABC1. This according to a statement by Peu Communication Solutions Publicity Manager Sumaya Peterson Mogola, is to cater for viewers. Many have complained that Skeem Saam airs too early for them, and now their needs will be met. The 7:30 slot is quite competitive though, with shows like e.tv’s Scandal!, already dominating the space.

Skeem Saam bagged over 3.2 Million viewers in the new time slot premiere. SABC1 Channel Head, Ofentse Thinane said they are proud of the performance of the first night . She also added that they are looking forward to more highlights and wins with the iconic Skeem Saam move.

Mogau Keebine, who plays Mapitsi Maputla on the drama, is also elated over the move. The talented actress stated that the extra hour gives her time to get some things done. When Skeem Saam airs at 7:30 she is free and all ready.
