10 Morning Care Routines For A Perfect Skin. A way to a great skin starts with a perfect morning care routine. With these easy yet effective skin care routines you will cleanse, refresh and protect your skin for the day ahead of you. With a little practice you will have these steps down and on your way to 24-hour gorgeous.

1. Wash Your Face

After a night’s worth of sleep there is sweat, oil and build-up on your face. Use a gentle cleanser to remove dirt and impurities. If you have dry skin use a product with ceramides or gentle moisturizer to lock in moisture and ensure that your skin doesn’t dry out. For oily skin use cleansers with glycolic or salicylic acid.

2. Cleanse

This will help you remove any remaining impurities from the surface of your skin Squeeze a small amount of your facial cleanser of choice into your hands and add water to transform it from clay to mousse. Gently massage your facial cleanser onto your face, then rinse off thoroughly with lukewarm water and pat dry.

3. Exfoliate

A washcloth gives the perfect amount of facial exfoliation, never irritates skin and is gentle enough to use every day. Run the washcloth under lukewarm water and wring it out , then rub it in small circles on your face, starting from your nose and working out towards your temples, forehead and chin. Not only will this slough off any dead skin cells, the massaging action will also help to get rid of any morning facial swelling.

4. Tone

If you have oily or acne-prone skin, this step is especially important; toner will help balance your skin and stop it from overproducing oils. No matter your skin type, you don’t want to dry out- so make sure you choose an alcohol-free formula. Look for ingredients that are soothing for skin; anything containing chamomile, hibiscus extract and vitamin E is a good bet. To use, apply toner onto a cotton round and swipe gently over your face and neck.

5. Apply Facial Serum

Not quite sure what a facial serum does? Generally, they are highly concentrated formulas that can help target specific skin concerns, such as fine lines and wrinkles, dry skin, or dark spots. They can also help to improve the overall appearance of your skin, too. Meaning: It’s probably worth adding one to your morning skin care routine if you haven’t already!

6. Moisturize

Try a hydrating moisturizer every morning. In this step you should go easy on emollients and use something light that can absorb quickly into your skin. You can use a so-called wake-up moisturizer which will perk up your skin and give it a healthy-looking glow. If you have combination skin now is a good time to use oil-free moisturizer to make sure you won’t look shiny later in the day.

7. Use Sunscreen

This is probably the most important step of the whole routine. As you probably know sun exposure can cause aging of the skin, even if it looks like a cloudy day. Apply SPF gently over your face before you apply make up for gorgeous looking skin years to come.

8. Hydrate

Start your day with a glass of hot water with lemon and honey. Hot water is known to help flush out toxins and when combined with lemon and honey, it’s enriched with antioxidants that help skin glow while giving you a Vitamin C boost.

9. Massage

Massage your face every day with your fingertips for 2 minutes in circular motion. This helps increase blood circulation and gives your skin a healthy glow. If you wish, doing it with ice cubes wrapped in some cloth will give you added benefits and instant glow.

10. Exercise

You may not want to hear it, but early morning exercise is essential for gorgeous skin; it promotes healthy circulation by increasing blood flow and reduces stress. Get that heart rate up, and your complexion will have a natural glow for the rest of the day.
