Sad Note: Ashes To Ashes Actress Shoki Mokgapa Dies. 34 year old Shoki Sebotsane has passed away. The details surrounding her death are still sketchy as the cause has not yet been shared with the public.

Shoki made her television debut in the second season of the SABC3 drama series The Lab in 2008, playing the role of Pearl Lusipho’s personal assistant Tumi. She continued to play the role in Season 3, from January to April, 2009.

She had roles on numerous other television series including the BBC drama Silent Witness, the ITV drama Wild at Heart; and local shows like Ashes to Ashes, Intersexions, Those Who Can’t, Swartwater and The Docket. Shoki won a Safta last year for Best Actress in a Feature Film for her role in the drama film SINK
