Sjava
We can never forget the day Sjava made us proud as a country. The singer bagged himself an International Viewer’s Choice award for Best New Act at the 2018 BET Awards.
Bonang Matheba
She is the most successful media personality of our time in this country. Not only does she hosts major awards, she wins them too. This year Bonang Matheba received an International Achievement Recognition Award as the Best Media Personality.
Black Coffee
This list cannot be complete without Black Coffee. The popular House DJ walked away with the Best Deep House DJ award at the international DJ Awards, which were held in Ibiza on 11 September 2018. This made it his third consecutive win.
Ladysmith Black Mambazo
No one does International awards like this group. LadySmith Black Mambazo won their fifth Grammy award this year. Their album “Shaka Zulu Revisited: 30th Anniversary Celebration” won in the Best World Music Album category.
