Anele was sent a message by one employee from the company, and she immediately asked where the person got their number from.

Without any shame, the individual who revealed they work for a testing laboratory, revealed that they once handled Anele’s account and got the number. Now they had the audacity to contact Anele, who was clearly not impressed by the deed. She vehemently told the individual that what they did is a violation of privacy, more so since they say they work for a reputable company. Anele also told the person to not ever message them again.

Every single time I have to write my number down somewhere. Every. Single. Time,” Anele said.

Some also related their stories, where strangers called them after leaving their contact details at certain organizations.
