SA Talented Actresses Starting Off 2022 With New Roles. This is definitely a good year for the creative industry. As we learn to live with the Covid-19 pandemic, the industry is slowly opening up. There are new shows being produced, and others are coming back for another season. This means more jobs for our actors, some of who have been without work for sometime. Among those getting new gigs include Bonnie Mbuli, Linda Sokhulu, Lusanda Mbane, Khanyi Mbau just to mention a few.

This is one of the actresses we are so looking forward to seeing this year onscreen. Bonnie Mbuli has bagged herself a role on season II of The Republic. The award winning actress, author and TV personality will definitely bring more heat to the Mzansi Magic political drama.
Thembi Nyandeni
Another veteran actress joining The Republic, is Thembi Nyandeni. Nyandeni is noted for her long-running stint as matriarch Mkabayi Zungu. It goes without saying that the multi award winning actres kills any role given to her, and we can’t wait to see how her new role goes.
Chichi Letswalo
Chichi Letswalo known for her roles on Lingashoni and Isithembiso is also joining The Republic. The talented actress and TV personality is among the new cast members joining the political drama for its second season.
Lusanda Mbane
Another actress that we are happy to see bagging roles is Lusanda Mbane. The former Scandal! villain is the lead actress on second season of Mzali Wam. Lusanda now plays the role of Joyce taking over from Masasa Mbangeni, who couldn’t continue with the character because she was shooting another show.
Sivenathi Mabuya
Another new face on Mzali Wam is Sivenathi Mabuya. When she exited Scandal! a few months ago, she announced that it was not goodbye, but a see you soon kind of situation. We are glad she is back to the small screen doing her thing.
Linda Sokhulu
Linda Sokhulu is back onscreen as the newest cast member to join the 7de Laan production team. The veteran actress has signed on the SABC2 popular soapie for a story block that will see her be part of the team for a few months. We can’t wait to see her do what she does best.
Khanyi Mbau
One thing that you can’t take away from Khanyi Mbau, is her talent as an actress. That is why many production houses always want to cast her. The talented actress, reality TV star, media personality, musician and entrepreneur has bagged a lead role on Season II of The Wife. Khanyi will play the role of Zandile, inspired by Zandile the Resolute.
