Minister Bheki Cele Congratulates Warrant Officer Thapelo On His Idols SA Win. Nothing is as beautiful as seeing the organization you work for supports you in anything you do outside of work. As it rarely happens, we can confidently say Thapelo Molomo is one lucky guy.

The 29-year-old talented singer has just been crowned as the winner of SA Idols Season 18 competition. In a closely contested final, Thapelo managed to eat vocal beast Nozi with votes. As soon as Proverb announced him as the winner, he knelt down and prayed on stage.

One thing that people got to know about him besides singing is that Thapelo is a member of the South African Police Service. He is stationed at the Brits Police Station in North West, where he works as a Warrant Officer. From the get go, the organization has also shown how immensely proud there were of Thapelo. Every milestone he reached in the competition, SAPS took to their social media pages to applaud him.

The Minister of Police, General Bheki Cele was among those attended the finale. On behalf of the SAPS he congratulated the newly crowned winner.
The member serves as a beacon of hope for many police officers who are on a daily basis faced with psycho-social challenges. He has illustrated to thousands of officers that hard work, determination and perseverance is the foundation of any successful human being. We are proud of him and wish him all the best. We cannot wait to have him back in office to continue serving our men and women in blue”, General Cele said.
He also had a one on one with Thapelo, where they had a cool chat. General Cele applauded his junior for showing another side of the police to the nation.
