10 Interesting Facts About House of Zwide’s Katleho Sinivasan (Zola). When it comes to the entertainment industry, Katleho Sinivasan is an all rounder. From TV hosting, acting, singing, being an MC, he has done it all. Learn more about him from the 10 facts below;

1 Katleho Sinivasan was born in 01 December 1990.

2. His interest in acting started in high school. After seeing how creative and free the drama student were, Kat decided to join. In 2005 he enrolled at the National School of Arts where studied classical music and dramatic arts.

3. His first television break was in 2006 on the SABC2 reality show Famous. The talent search followed six young hopeful musicians on their journey as a pop group recording their album, touring and learning the ropes of the music industry.

4. In that same year Kat joined SABC1’s popular children’s programme YOTV as a presenter where he stayed for five years.

5. He broke away from the show in 2012 when he was cast as one of the hosts of PLAY YOUR PART, a Brand South Africa campaign showcasing ordinary South Africans doing extraordinary things.

6. In 2013 Katleho joined the SABC1 magazine show MZANSI INSIDER, an upbeat youth show that goes out LIVE every weekend, serving breakfast show realness.

7. As an actor, his first TV role was in My Perfect Family, and reveals he was a bad actor. After the show, he decided to dedicate his time to being great at presenting.

8. Kat is also an incredible MC. He has hosted SABC 1’s live New Years eve party, Come Duze in 2014 and 2015, among many shows.

9. In 2017, the award winning Kat beat everyone to the finish line and won the E! online Entertainment talent search for South Africa’s first host.

10. This year he went back to acting, as House of Zwide cast member, playing the role of Zola. The incredibly charming Zola is misogynistic, possessive, controlling, manipulating, and not afraid of anyone.
