Scandal Actor Mbulelo Katise Sets The Record Straight : “I Don’t Date Sugar Mama’s!”

Scandal! actor, Mbulelo Katise recently set the record straight telling the Daily Sun Newspaper that he is nothing like his TV character he plays on Scandal. Mbulelo Katise who plays Scelo on the e.tv soapie, says even though he dates older woman on TV, he isn’t a Ben 10 in real life.

Katie made it clear that he doesn’t date sugar mamas! In fact, not only are he and his character not the same…but we’re not even sure they’d be friends in real life because he’s nothing like Scelo!

In the soapie, Scelo first dated Dintle and Kitsi, who were both older than him. And more recently he was involved with Mary’s mother, Phumla.

Mbulelo on the topic of dating older women says, “It’s a relevant topic in our society. People want to see things on TV that they can relate to in their lives,”.

He admits that he is just a regular guy working hard at carving out a career for himself. Mbulelo regards his father his best motivator and his mother as his number one fan.

“They helped me with some decisions regarding my future,” he said.
