“For Me Acting Is Not A Job It’s More Of A Calling,” Mapula Mafole. SAFTA nominee Mapula, is one of the most down to earth actresses in SA. She plays Mapula, a teenager who takes care of her two younger siblings on Rhythm City. When many do it for fame and a quick buck, she regards her acting as a calling.

Having started performing at the age of 6, Mapule says her acting skills are a gift. “I take it very serious because I am telling people’s stories,” she said. Speaking to Thembi Seete on Massiv Metro, the pint sized star described herself as an introvert who enjoys to be indoors.
