Own Goal

After stumbling upon Botho and Tladi loving on each other and later Lehasa and Felleng kissing, Ashanti gets jealous. Despite the advice she gets from Warona and Justice, Ashanti allows her emotions to get the better of her and as a result, she gets herself drunk and passes out in Lehasa’s office – half naked.

Lehasa informs Justice about Tladi and Ashanti’s romantic relations. Justice struggles to swallow this new information. Botho receives a message from her supposed father.

Episode 138

Fire and ice

Mmamosa asks her sons to go to Europe with her and they refuse. A traumatized Warona returns from jail. Benina and Mbazo struggle to just be friends while Ashanti overhears that Felleng and Lehasa are definitely getting it on.

When she confronts Lehasa about this he tells her that they are a bad match which leads to Ashanti’s total emotional breakdown. Mmamosa tries to liquidate her son’s trust funds, and Botho receives another message from her father.

The Great White Hope

Mmamosa forces Lehasa to choose between her and Justice. So Lehasa propositions Tladi to join him in liquidating their trust funds to buy out Mmamosa but Tladi refuses. Meanwhile, Mmamosa offers to give Tongai a cheque to spy for her.

Jin approaches Alex about the concerns of the female athletes feeling pushed too hard. Alex eventually budges and allows the Athletes to choose between doing the pentathlon or their individual sports.

The Athletes are worried that without funding they may not be able to go to Cape Town for the Pretrials.
Zola channels Ashanti and stands up to Tannie Kat’s pressures. But watching Zola in action make Ashanti wonder if that’s how people actually see her?

Running Up

Justice, inspired by Alex, decides he also wants to auction off some of his memorabilia to raise funds for the Cape Town trip but can’t seem to decide what. So he enlists Warona’s help, but he and Alex get a surprise when the bids are much lower than they anticipated.

Botho is caught in a trap when she starts to receive creepy messages form someone claiming to be her father. Botho receives another message requesting a midnight meeting. Botho obliges, with disastrous results.

Episode 141

A confused and disorientated Botho wakes in a small room and realizes she is a prisoner. Botho is kidnapped!

Lehasa gets Felleng’s job back, Justice donates his boxing trucks for the raffle. When Mmamosa tries to convince justice to sell ASA, justice realizes Mmamosa’s master plan was to sell his school all along Ashanti receives booth’s necklace and the family realises Botho has been kidnapped.

Episode 142

Shock ripples through the Academy as people realise that Botho has been kidnapped. Jaqualine conducts interviews with everybody to publicise Botho’s kidnap in the hopes of getting information, and the kidnappers finally make contact and reveal their demands.

Botho tries to escape. The kidnappers want ASA title deeds as ransom and Mmamosa refuses to hand over her shares. Lehasa is manic. P/J confides to Warona about the history of her and Anna’s matching necklaces.
