Winnie Ntshaba Shares How Senzo’s Death on House of Zwide Triggered Her. Just after the show gave us a spectacular wedding, now we witness a heart wrenching death. House of Zwide‘s current storyline is centered around the passing away of Senzo Zwide, a very interesting character.
Senzo was played by 19 year old Olwethu Mackay, who just bowed out of the e.tv drama. He burst into the scene as this suburban snob, who gets away with practically anything. Shipped off to boarding school, Senzo became heavy drug abuser and his mother (Winnie Ntshaba) turned a blind eye. Struggling with his parents’ separation and having a new sister, Senzo’s life continued to turn upside down dramatically.
The Senzo character got killed on Monday night’s episode, 17 July, when season three began. His mother, Faith is convinced that Nandipha is responsible for his death. While mourning his death, the family is also seeking answers.
As someone who has a son and lost loved ones in real life, Winnie empathizes with Faith. The talented actress and entrepreneur reveals that, on the day they were shooting Senzo’s funeral, she was triggered. Winnie shared that after shooting she had a headache that lasted two days. She also comforted those going through grief and wished them strength and peace.
