Oscar Pistorius Suffered Minor Injuries Following A Fight In Prison. It is alleged that Pistorius was involved in an altercation with another inmate over the use of a public phone. The convicted murderer and paralympian, sustained minor injuries after the fight that happened last week Wednesday.

Pistorius who is serving a 13-year jail term for the murder of his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp was left with a bruise after “an altercation with another inmate” on 6 December, according to the Department of Correctional Services.The once celebrated star killed Steenkamp, a model and law graduate, by firing four bullets from a handgun through a closed toilet door in his luxury home in Pretoria on Valentine’s Day 2013.

Pistorius, was originally convicted of culpable homicide,  but the appeal court upgraded his conviction to murder. DCS has launched an internal investigation into the matter to establish the facts and to ensure that appropriate action is taken.
