Refilwe Modiselle Remembers Her Father In A Heartfelt Tribute 24 Years After His Passing. No matter how many years go by, the death of a parent is something we can’t just get over. We all need our parents to see us grow, be successful, and in turn take care of them. Sadly, just like in the case of the Modiselle sisters, we can lose one or both of our parents at a very young age.

They lost their father back in 1997, and the pain still cuts deep. The eldest of the sisters, Refilwe Modiselle, took to Twitter to remember their father on the 24th anniversary of his death. The award winning actress, model and media personality still vividly remembers the fateful day they woke up to the sad reality that their father is no more.

“This very day in 1997 we woke up to losing dad… I will never forget as he lay lifeless in my arms . Papa love you forever. There’s not a day I don’t wish you were here…. You are resting in power. Miss you so dearly,” Refilwe shared.

In spite of suffering loss as young girls, Refilwe‚ Candice and Bontle all have thriving careers in the entertainment industry. They have such a beautiful relationship with their mother Grace, who did a great job in raising them as a single parent. We wish healing to the Modiselle family on this day, as they remember their father.
