Lerato Kganyago Claps Back After Her Sport Show Hosting Skills Were Questioned. This year she has been bagging quite a number of events and TV hosting gigs. Lerato Kganyago currently hosts Forever Maybe, a Mzansi Magic reality show all about saving troubled marriages.
The award winning media personality, DJ and entrepreneur also has a hosting gig in one of the local leading channels. Lerato is one of the presenter for SABC 1’s Good Morning Qatar. She hosts alongside TV personality and comedian Shampoonaiza. Together the two, take viewers through the latest news about the ongoing world cup, featuring a panel of vibrant analysts and die hard sports fans. Good Morning Qatar, airs on weekdays between 7am-8am.
Sadly the appointment of celebrities on these sport shows, has not sat well with a lot of football fans. Just the other day, viewers were shocked when Supersport’s guest presenter Twiggy Moli called Portugal’s Christiano Ronaldo a “p**s”live on TV. This is a common and extremely insulting Afrikaans swear word, which has no place on TV.

Reacting to this, Chris Excel, a well known Twitter commentator took on Minnie Dlamini, stating that she once asked a football player how the vibe was on the field. He then blamed the TV stations for using slay queens instead of famous people. One of his followers dragged Lerato in the conversation, saying she too knows nothing about soccer.
Lerato did not take this lying down, and immediately fetched the tweep. She told the person off, and told him to go do some research on her.
“Do your research about where I started with the sport shows. You guys drag my name anywhere and everywhere, because you want nothing good for me,” she defended herself pretty well.
