“I Just Wish We Could Be Genuine to One Another,” Lasizwe to Fellow Entertainers. They call it the dog-eat-dog industry. This is because the entertainment industry is highly competitive, and it is also uncertain. One minute you are a bug shot, and the next you are down and out.

Even for someone who currently has it happening for themselves like Lasizwe, they still face some problems. The media personality, YouTuber and reality TV star has been making major moves since the beginning of the year. Just this week alone, Lasizwe made his acting debut on medical drama Durban Gen, and he is launching his YouTube show, Lasizwe and Lungile.

Despite all this, Lasizwe still feels the coldness that comes with being in the industry. He has noticed that many still interpret kindness as fake in the industry, simply because of trust issues. Because this is something that he has experienced, Lasizwe has thus called on fellow entertainers to be more genuine to each other.

“In the entertainment industry… many interpret kindness as being fake. I get it tho cause a lot of people be fake and smile just to get something from us. I’ve experienced it and its actually sad! I just wish we could be genuine to one another especially coz we in one industry, he said.
