Zahara Reflects On The Painful Memories She Has Of Being Called ‘Ugly’ As A Child

Zahara has recently opened about not being confident enough when she was growing up. She was apparently labelel ‘ugly’ as she was growing up. She opened about how that actually affected her self-esteem and confidence. Zahara felt like an outcast as a child

“I was made fun of for my crooked teeth and they told me my voice was too big” she said in an interview with drum magazine. She went on to add that people said she was too masculine and those things that were said to her, are actually hard to forget. I mean who wouldn’t forget the harsh things that have been said to you.

Those are actually the things that make one lack confidence in herself. “I take care of myself now and the way I look is important to me. I work more, I eat well and I take care of my image” Zahara added.
