Levels! Nyalleng Thibedi Bags Herself an International Award Nomination. Our celebrities are without a doubt doing amazing things on an international scale. Just the other day, Mihlali Ndamase, Lasizwe Dambuza Boity Thulo as well as Witney Ramabulana bagged themselves nominations at the upcoming People’s Choice Awards under the African Social Star category. Another one of our stars Thuso Mbedu is also bagging major award nominations in Hollywood.

Without a doubt Mzansi has made it’s mark as a force in the entertainment industry. We always have a representative in major awards held globally. Another personality who has just announced their international award nod is Nyalleng Thibedi. The talented actress and influencer has just been nominated for Break Out Actress of the Year award at the Scream Women Awards ‘21.

Nyalleng is well known for her role as Zekhethelo on SABC1 drama, Uzalo. Zekethelo is the stepdaughter of KwaMashu’s notorious criminal, Nkunzi (Masoja Msiza).She has also had roles on shows like Ashes to Ashes, Streets of Mangaung, Mamello, Mfolozi Street among others.

Other South Africans on the category are Ama Qamata. The award winning actress is well known for her role as Puleng on Blood & Water series. The series became a hit getting recognition from international stars such as Gabriella Union. The other local nominee is Thabisile Zikhali who recently played a prostitute on Rockville season V. She plays the role of Sweety, a sassy, confident sex worker at a high-class brothel, disguised as Hotel Paradiso. We are very confident that this award is coming home, one way or the other.
