“I Had An Opportunity to Walk Away, But I Didn’t, I Regret It Now,” Bujy Bikwa On His Fight With Boity

“I Had An Opportunity to Walk Away, But I Didn’t, I Regret It Now,” Bujy Bikwa On His Fight With Boity. This will forever be one of the biggest regrets of his life. Bujy Bikwa’s fight with Boity Thulo back in 2021 continues to haunt him to date.

Bikwa made headlines in 2021, after Boity Thulo alleged that he assaulted her at some club. Pictures of the injured Boity trended on social media, leaving many shocked. Bikwa’s career was now on the line, as social media users wanted him cancelled immediately. On the other hand, Boity also alleged that she lost work because of her facial injuries. Because of that and the medical costs she incurred, Boity asked Bujy for R1,2 million as part of a settlement agreement. The multi-award winning rapper, media personality and entrepreneur also opened a case of assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

A year ago, Bujy and Boity kissed and made up. Boity dropped charges against the fellow media personality. Although that was such a relief, Bujy already lost a lot because of the unfortunate incident. He allegedly lost his two TV shows and ambassadorship deals, which caused him to downgrade his lifestyle, and moved from a golf estate to a smaller apartment.

The good thing though is that, we learn lesson through the worst of experiences, and so has Bujy. He continues to do interviews where he states that he vehemently regrets his actions. A couple of days back, Bujy was a guest on ‘Against the Wall Podcast – Danyane Diaries’. He touched on many topics including the Sun City Doorstep experiences, cancel culture, meeting Shoba among others.

For the 2021 incident, Bujy wishes he could have just walked away, when the opportunity to do so presented itself. Listen to the full interview from the link below;
