Ayanda Thabethe Expresses Gratitude After Representing South Africa at Miss Supranational. Not winning the crown at such a pageant doesn’t mean one is a loser. Just by virtue of participating and representing your country, you are already a winner. That is why Ayanda Thabethe oozes so much happiness and contentment after her stint at Miss Supranational.
The beauty queen went as far as Top 24, but sadly did not proceed to other stages. Although that is the case, Ayanda won the hearts of many, locally and internationally. She was chosen as Miss Congeniality at the pageant. On top of everything else, Ayanda had the most fun, leaned a lot and formed friendships during the whole journey.
“What an incredible journey it has been! I always say that I put myself in these spaces so that I can grow faster and meet like-minded women with a plan to better the world. And I am happy to say that this experience has done that for me🥹❤️ I will forever be grateful for the friendships that I have formed during this time, the lessons that I have learnt, and the support that I have received. My heart is so full,” Ayanda said.
She is also proud of herself for taking up the opportunity to showcase her talent to the world. Ayanda also thanked everyone who supported her through the journey, be it with kind words, interactions on her social media pages or otherwise.
“A dream delayed is not a dream denied and as the incredible @lalela_mswane always says, I will continue to choose courage over comfort and step boldly into the next chapter of my life which ever direction that may be.
