Finance Intern Wanted At MSF SA. This organization is currently looking for a student intern to join their finance team. The Finance Intern will provide administrative and accounting support to the finance team. He or she will carry out other finance-related duties as required from the Finance Director and the Finance Officer.

Key Tasks And Responsibilities

• Data entry and verification on Excel for debit notes
• Assist with re-invoicing – checking invoices, reconciliation and posting debit notes
• Assist with weekly finance data filing
• Assist with month-end closing procedures – checking general ledger, monthly checklists and filing
• Assist with data collection for monthly payroll procedures – check instructions and accompanying documentation
• Assist in reviewing finance forms and templates and implementing recommendations

Requirements

Education, skills, and experience

• Relevant tertiary qualification / studying towards a tertiary qualification in accounting
• Proficiency in Excel, Word and Outlook
• Knowledge of Pastel accounting software an advantage

Position Details

• Contract type: Six months part-time (three days a week)
• Remuneration: Hourly stipend
• Location: Based in Johannesburg
