Brikz Sentenced To 15 Years In Jail. Kwaito star Sipho Ndlovu popularly known as Brickz, was found guilty in July of raping his 16-year-old niece at his home in November 2013. On the morning of Tuesday 17  October, he was sentenced to 15 years behind bars.

When passing the sentence, Magistrate Baloyi detailed testimony from the victim that she was bleeding after the incident as her hymen was broken, as she was a virgin at the time, and was in severe pain. He said Brickz told the victim to take a bath after the rape and had threatened to kill her if she told anyone.

The defense argued for a lenient sentence, but Baloyi said Brickz has not shown remorse for his crime and the court has a duty to protect the freedom of women. Bricks’ legal team immediately said it would be appealing the conviction as well as the sentence. Ntsiki Mazwai has also come out recently saying she is also a victim of Brickz who raped her sometime back.
