Bonnie Mbuli on Why She Supports Operation Dudula Leader Nhlanhla Lux. Over the past couple of weeks, Nhlanhla Lux has been making breaking news. He however became known when he and a group of others saved Maponya Mall from looters during the 2021 July unrest.
Lux, is currently making headlines as the Operation Dudula leader. The group, which is made up of military veterans is trying to regain Township economy by closing down foreign owned businesses in the townships. Lux believes that young people should take the reigns of the country so that they can create opportunities for themselves.
It is expected that putting yourself out there will get you enemies, and Lux indeed stepped on some people’s toes. He preaches what goes against the EFF, and he is not in good terms with some leaders of the party. There are also personalities like Ntsiki Mazwai, who have not been impressed with Lux and what he stands for. He is recently got arrested on charges of housebreaking, theft and defeating the ends of justice after Victor Ramerafe laid a criminal complaint following a raid on his home by the vigilante group.
As much as he is an enemy to some, there are those who hail Lux a hearo, and they have their reasons. One of them is award winning actress and TV personality Bonnie Mbuli. She regards Lux as an intelligent person and called for his release.
“I’m saying the reason I’m so passionate about the lux dude’s message is that my whole life in SA I’ve felt like I can’t lay claim to this country, we had to fight boers 4 it,fight apartheid 4 it, fight the ANC 4 it,fight amaChina for it, when does this land become ours?nah bruh,” Bonnie said.
