In an interview with Proverb on BET, Caster revealed a side of her you haven’t seen before! The record breaking athlete and gold medalist, was so open during the interview as she spoke about her life. Just like everyone else she has dreams that she wants to achieve, and she revealed hers from a young age was to become a soldier.
In the interview Caster talks about how she met her wife Violet. She lets viewers into their relationship from dating all the way down to their highly publicized wedding ceremony. According to her, her father wasn’t keen on the idea of her daughter being a lesbian. He always bought Caster dresses, but she stood her ground as she knew what she felt inside. Her family must be happy now because according to Casper Violet inspires her.
Not only is she good in sports, Caster can also rap! As a hip hop fan, she has a few rhymes up her sleeve. Because of her sexual orientation, she has been on the news often. But this doesn’t bother her, saying, “If you write about me it’s good, you make me famous. Thank you.”
