School Marketing Assistant Wanted At Waterfall Schools
Waterfall is seeking a full-time marketing assistant to support the marketing team with the promotion of its trio of schools; namely Waterfall Pre-Primary, Waterfall Preparatory, and Waterfall College. The overall marketing assistant responsibilities will include assisting in the development and implementation of marketing strategies, organizing recruitment campaigns, and generating content marketing.
Main Duties
• Assist with preparations for key marketing events including open days, working closely with admissions
• Build a relationship with the administrators of the schools
• Assist with the production of printed marketing materials; prospectuses, leaflets, newsletters
• Assist with the gathering, creation and editing of news stories for publication on the school website, social media, and printed items
• Assist with the implementation of the school’s social media strategy
• Liaise, as appropriate, with staff and departments to ensure consistency of quality and branding of external communications
• Manage and maintain the upkeep of the school’s photo library
• Assist the marketing manager with monitoring of the marketing budget and liaising with suppliers regarding quotes and invoices
• Maintain all online directories and monitor SEO
• Proofreading of all printed and online marketing materials
Training And Experience
• A tertiary level qualification or similar
• At least three to four years of marketing experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong IT skills
• Optimism and an ability to build strong working relationships at all levels
• The successful applicant will be proactive, confident, approachable, and well-presented, a person of integrity who shares the vision and values of our schools
• An ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Good time management with the ability to work under pressure and prioritize as
necessary
