It’s no news that former lovers Cici and Arthur do not see eye to eye and have pending cases of assault against one another. It all started when Cici opened a case of assault against Arthur, claiming Mafokate dragged her and choked her during an argument after receiving a phone call from another woman while they were in their bedroom. As people pick sides, Cici, has been accused by one of her dancers Hlengiwe Makhoba of lying about being abused by her former boyfriend, kwaito king Arthur Mafokate. According to the dancer, after a night of drinking, Cici kept telling her how she wanted to take Arthur’s phones. The dancer was then awaken by Arthur screaming with scratches all over his face and pleading with Cici to apparently not throw his phones in the swimming pool.

Makhoba denies that any physical choking and dragging occurred and, in her view, Arthur had not been violent. Meanwhile their court case is getting nearer and nearer, where the dancer will be a witness. “My case against him ,Friday the 4th and his case against me Monday the 7th of August,” Cici told one of her supporters.
