Check Out The List Of Women Who Made It To The Power FM Line Up This Year

It has now become a norm that in celebration of Women’s Month, POWER 98.7 substitutes all male presenters for three days and replaces them with a woman line up. In 2016 a list of the most influential women in South Africa took the reins, tackling some of the most pressing and delightful issues facing women today. This year again, they have selected powerful South African women to take over the airwaves from 7-9 August.

Some Of The Names Include:

  • Hulisani Ravele: Presenter on CapricornFM.
  • Dr. Makhosi Busisiwe Khoza: Member of Parliament serving as Chairperson of the Portfolio Committee on Public Service and Administration.
  • Amanda Black: Singer-songwriter.
  • Busisiwe Mkhwebane: South African advocate, who was appointed to serve as the Public Protector of South Africa
  • Terry Volkwyn: Chief Executive Officer at Primedia Broadcasting.
  • Ayanda Dlodlo:  Minister of Communications of the Republic of South Africa since 30 March 2017.
  • Funeka Montjane: Chief Executive, Personal and Business Banking, South Africa at Standard Bank Group.
  • Lindiwe Sisulu: Minister of Human Settlements.
  • Wendy Appelbaum: Owner and Chair of De Morgenzon Wine Estate in Stellenbosch.
  • Wendy Luhabe: a South African entrepreneur.
  • Wendy Lucas-Bull:  Independent Director and Chairman of Barclays Africa Group.
