Bahumi Shares What It’s Like To Have Famous Parents

We cannot imagine the pressure of having not one but two parents in the spotlight. This is practically the life of Bahumi Madisakwane who has both parents in the limelight. Her case is even more extra ordinary because her grandparents are also well known people.

On an interview today on Expresso Television Show, she shared her fair share of the hardships of having prominent parents in the industry. Although she says her childhood and upbringing has been normal, she does agree that there is a lot of pressure that comes with it. Unlike many children she has been exposed to fame at a tender age, with the public judging her every move.

Bahumi said as a child of parents who are doing well, every time she talks about the gifts they bought her, people translate it as bragging. The talented actress admits that her choices in life gets questioned and she is always compared to her parents. She explained that she did not get where she is by piggy-bagging on her parents, but rather worked hard for her recognition.
