Former YoTV Presenter Lumko Johnson Slams Gerry Elsdon Over Her Opinions On Homosexuality. 1Magic new reality show, Cheeky Palate, is already ruffling some feathers after just one episode. The show presented by Phat Jo, debuted on Friday 09, and the controversial topic of ‘spirituality’, was tackled on the table.
Among the guests were, award-winning businesswoman Nobuntu Webster, businesswoman and TV personality Gerry Eldson, Gogo Dineo, renowned musician and motivational speaker Joshua Maponga and musician, Zwai Bala. Homosexuality is always a touchy subject, but hey, it still needs to be put on the table for discussion.
Gerry, without a opened a can of worms when she addressed homosexuality from her religion’s point of view. She mentioned that the word of God, regards homosexuality as a sin. Having noted that, Gerry said Christianity also preaches love, which means everyone should be loved regardless of their sexual orientation.
Media personality, actor and producer, Lumko Johnson was definitely not impressed with Gerry’s reasoning. He labelled Gerry as stupid and said she uses Christianity to invalidate homosexuality.
