DJ Speedsta Claps Back At A Fan Who Asked Him To Play ‘New Talent’ Instead Of Usual Artists
The Mayo hitmaker, DJ Speedsta has went on twitter rant with one follower who challenged him to play fresh music instead of usual artist’s music. The fan didn’t know what was coming to him. Speedsta told him that he won’t play ‘new talent’ just to make him happy. He went on and added that ‘new talent’ doesn’t produce good music, so he has no time for young artists who think that the entertainment industry is all roses and flowers.
“I’m not gonna play new talent material to make you happy, I play dope shit, I don’t care who you are, how you look, where you from” reads DJ Speedsta’s tweet. This dude is so savage. The poor guy was only trying to stand up for his homies. Anyway, It is clear that Speedsta is not in the business to babysit and play music out of pity.
He went on to say that he won’t play music just for the sake of playing it. I guess young artists should start working harder on their crafts, it shows that it’ll take more than just simple demos to please the Y-FM DJ. New talent take note! The hip hop industry is not a braai without meat.
