Learnership Opportunity At Netcare

Netcare is currently offering Basic Pharmacist Assistant Learnership opportunities in KwaZulu Natal and Eastern Cape. Pharmacist assistant learners work closely with a Pharmacist to ensure safe and appropriate medication management.

Responsibilities

Ø  Assisting in surgical area

Ø  Preparation of stock books

Ø  Participation in stock take

Ø  Checking and controlling expiry date of medication in stock (s1-s5) in designated areas

Ø  Compounding of mixtures under supervision of a pharmacist

Ø  Picking and charging of ethical replenishments to the wards and theatre

Ø  Working allocated shifts after hours and over weekends

Requirements

Ø  Grade 12 school leaves with Mathematics

Ø  English

Ø  Biology/Life Science

Competencies

Ø  Exceptional communication skills, coupled with passion and enthusiasm for people
