It is a sad time for the South African nation as two legends are laid to rest today. Struggle veteran Ahmed Kathrada’s funeral is underway while actor and legend Joe Mafela is also buried next to one of Kwaito’s greatest, Mandoza. That is literally his final resting place.
The funeral is currently taking place at the University of Johannesburg’s Soweto campus. He is being laid at the Westpark cemetery. “Joe Mafela’s final resting place is being prepared. He will be buried next to Mandoza” a fan tweeted. South Africans’s tributes continues to pour in.
