2. She is from Sedgefield in the Western Cape
3. She is a part time model at Boss Models and Vision Management
4. In Grade 11, Demi was chosen as the Deputy Junior Mayor of the George City Council
5. Demi was also the first girl in her high school to be elected as head girl of both the school and its hostel
6. Her biggest motivator is her half-sister, who was born without a cerebellum and is completely disabled
7. Demi is also good at making cards and scrapbooks
8. She said that she very determined to make a difference during her reign
