Job description

A rapidly growing television production company is looking for a well organised, systematic individual with great people management and systems development abilities. Experience in financial management is essential. A background in the creative industries would be a definite plus.

Key performance areas:

Systems re-engineering

Systems development

Develop production standards for the purpose of:

  • Costing products
  • Personnel evaluation
  • Personnel requirements
  • Organisational effectiveness and efficiency
  • Develop job descriptions and work programmes
  • Develop and assess equipment requirements
  • Facilities planning and design
  • Strategic planning
  • Project management
  • Maintain and enhance computer systems
  • Manage all human resource related functions included salaries,disciplinary actions, CCMA related affairs, labour law affairs, personnel evaluations and personnel selections and appointments
  • Manage all purchasing planning and purchases
  • Manage all financial matters as well as budgeting, debtors and creditors, financial forecasts, financial year end, trial balances, account reconciliations, VAT
  • Management of staff
  • Manage building and equipment maintenance.
  • Manage security and loss control
  • Ensure that the business complies with health regulations
  • Ensure that business complies with trading regulations
